Hi my name's Rus and I've ridden like most of us since a kid, I loved it. I rode everywhere, I tried to ride over everything! sometimes with success others less so and as such my journey began fixing my bike and that of friends.
I have over 25 years of experience within the cycle industry having worked within retailers of almost all the top brands. Starting as a shop floor apprentice when a fresh faced teen progressing through the workshop and subsequently to store manager and then running multiple successful stores as an area manager. I have launched a brand in to the UK market, working with the media planning campaigns and strategies.
I have Cytech qualifications and have completed numerous brand specific training days/seminars. I have years of riding experience both road and mtb. Maintaining my own cycles and that of friends and customers gives me the great base of knowledge that I offer.
My passion has and always will be the needs of the individual rider, some call it customer service. The trouble I found was the further I progressed within the industry the further I found myself from what I enjoyed most. Working day to day with end consumers, exchanging real world views on what works locally and what fails is what drives me, personal interaction, the forging of relationships - trust.
I've been really lucky to work in an industry that I am hugely passionate about and my ability to influence others experiences through either product recommendations or just making their bike work smoothly again is a responsibility I cherish.
